Anti-Japanese protests flared all weekend in major cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, and Hong Kong. People came out in force to demonstrate against Japanese claims to a group of disputed islands known as Diaoyu in China and Senkaku in Japan. Tensions have been growing for months between Asia’s two biggest economies. This most recent spate of protests comes after the Japanese government announced last week that it purchased some of the islands.

all of this is organized by chinese gov.  china always needs scapegoats in order to

distract attention from their own people, which might lead to riot against their own

chinese gov.  people doing in the riot are just thief at a fire.  they don't care about

what is the purpose of these riots.

people in the world have to realize how china is tricky, and they eventually

dominate the world, as using the same way they are doing against japan now.

people in hong kong and taiwan actually have to combine the forces with japan

if they care about their future.

There are also large scale protests by the overseas Chinese in the US, such as San Fransisco, New York, etc. The crowds numbers in the thousands and joined by people from the mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

For example, on Saturday, "A few thousand people crammed into Portsmouth Square at the base of Chinatown (in San Francisco)...", as reported by San Jose Mercury news (http://www.mercurynews.com/pen...

Also on Sunday in New York, "More than 1,000 people of Chinese descent rallied in front of the Consulate-General of Japan in New York City Sunday to protest the Japanese government's unilateral nationalization of the disputed Diaoyutai Islands." (http://focustaiwan.tw/ShowNews...

Curiously, none of these are reported in the main stream media. Selective news reporting at work?

America will be on the side of Japan about DiaoYu island? Then American will be the enemy of the whole easten Asia, because Japan intruded most countries of eastern Asia in World War II. The disputed island of DiaoYu make these cuntries think of the invasion of Japan in  World War II. They will hate not only Japan ,but also America.
