Japan Meteorological Agency shows ground-motion waveform from North Korea on Feb. 12, 2013

Nuclear North Korea – The New York Times reports that North Korea conducted its third nuclear test on Tuesday, which was later confirmed by the country’s official Korean Central News Agency. The test was carried out as part of defensive counteractions for the country against the “ferocious hostile act of the U.S.” who, according to a statement from the KCNA news service, violated North Korea’s right to launch a satellite for “peaceful purposes.”  Several world leaders have condemned the nuclear tests, which caused, according to U.S. monitoring agency, a 4.9 magnitude earthquake, notes the Associated Press. President Barack Obama called the nuclear test a “highly provocative act,” reports Reuters.

Currency Cuts – The Venezuelan government slashed the price of its national currency – the bolivar – by 32% on Feb. 8, the Economist notes.  It is the seventh devaluation since Hugo Chávez took office in 1999, and is “the most striking statistical indicator of Chávez’s economic mismanagement,” said the Economist. Although the official rate of the bolivar weakened from 4.3 bolivares to the dollar to 6.3, according to the weekly newspaper, the new rate is still about three times stronger than the value of the currency on the black market.

Kenya Debates – Kenya’s presidential candidates faced off in the country’s first public forum in its nearly 50 years as an independent nation, the New York Times points out.  Kenyan politics have been shrouded by corruption, impunity and bitter ethnic rivalries, which often led to widespread violence during contested elections, according to the daily. The debate, which was held in Nairobi and moderated by Kenyan journalists, showed candidates’ condemning ethnic politics. Raila Odinga, Kenya’s prime minister, said, “ethnicity is a disease of the elite.”

China Trade — China has overtaken the U.S. to become the world’s biggest trading nation in goods, reports the Guardian. According to China’s customs administration, the country’s combined total for imports and exports in Chinese goods reached $3.87 trillion in 2012 — surpassing the $3.82 trillion trade in goods registered by the U.S. commerce department. The U.S. economy, valued at $15 trillion, is still worth more than double that of China, writes the Guardian, noting that the latest figures show the extent of China’s dependence on the rest of the world to generate jobs and income. But despite the U.S. having a large internal market for goods, and dominating the trade in services, its hefty deficit in the trade of goods ($700 billion in 2012) is much greater than China’s, and is predicted to get larger, reports the daily.

Hacking Claims – Burma’s government has denied that it was responsible for alleged attempts to hack into the Gmail accounts of local and foreign journalists, reports the AP. At least 12 reporters received messages from Google last week informing them of a possible security breach, leading journalists to question whether Burma’s emerging press freedoms are genuine, writes the AP. The Gmail warnings have led to speculation that the hacking attempt could be related to recent coverage — which the government claims is one-sided — of the ongoing conflict between the government and ethnic rebels in northern Kachin state. But the government, which, according to the Guardian, recently announced new regulations which will allow foreign reporters to work for up to a year in Burma on short and long-term journalist visas, has also apparently fallen victim to the attacks, with the nation’s deputy information minister claiming that his Gmail account was also hacked.

Afghan Talks? — Planned Afghanistan peace talks are in danger of collapse after leading Pakistani clerics stated they were unwilling to take part unless the Taliban was also present, reports the Independent. The Pakistani clerics, or Ulema, also view the talks — announced by British Prime Minister David Cameron, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Afghan President Hamid Karzai earlier this month — as an attempt by the three nations to endorse the Karzai government, reports the daily. Afghanistan has sent an emergency delegation to Islamabad in an attempt to persuade the Ulema to attend the conference, which is due to take place in Kabul next month, writes the Independent. Although the Taliban have previously expressed an interest in peace negotiations, it is unlikely that they could openly attend a conference in Afghanistan any time soon, and they have spoken out against the idea of this particular conference, notes the daily.

Hugo Chávez, come out - come out - wherever you are! Or at least in pictures, film, voicemail, messaging, etc - The Venezuelan government could at least update once in a while the 'living death' of its (sleeping beauty - like) beloved president with some convincing 'something or other' - or maybe it'll be like a Mexican soap opera, where just before the commercial break,  it shows the president having a slight 'cough and congestion - swallowing some pills', and then immediately 'after' the commercial, it starts off with the coronation, showing  his (the government's “semi-authoritarian") heir 'rightfully instated' to 'the (missing, presumably dead) dictator's throne'. Great, I'm dying to see them try to pull it off (not really).  The government says that Chavez is making progress, but I wonder how they got their hands on a telescope that is so 'road runner' a.c.m.e.' powerfully good that it can catch 'the progress' of some old guy like Chaves going up St. Peter's golden stair! In any case, be ready for a long climb/wait.... sitting down, presumably, maybe sleeping - in coma, hahaha.

FEBRUARY 10, 2013:  Through the Afzal Guru hanging, the Congress Party is preparing for Narendra Modi as the next prime minister through CIA-mandated early elections followed by nuclear tests that will eliminate surprise and forestall the simultaneous nuclear destruction of Washington, New York and RAW without which India will remain enslaved as I said on August 22, 2012 in JoinIndiaWarOfIndependenceDOTblogspotDOTcom :

"I have saved India's nuclear forces from falling for having India's nuclear warheads tested in Russian or French high energy labs (I wrote that the Physics of what happens in a nuclear explosion cannot adequately be replicated in a high energy lab; laboratory models of missiles and jet aircraft may not have this deficiency but laboratory models of nuclear weapons do, because of which there is no substitute for explosive tests), from sabotage of the warheads by microwave signals from U.S. satellites, from falling for the explosive tests of new designs without first destroying New Delhi, Washington and New York with existing warheads even if their actual yield is a fraction of the design yields because any new explosive tests at this point will eliminate surprise and prompt the U.S. to take steps to forestall the simultaneous destruction of New Delhi, Washington and New York on which India's victory depends -- see paragraphs dated August 10, 2012 below. CIA and RAW are full of tricks and India's nuclear forces will keep falling for them unless they trigger the warheads without further delay." India's nuclear forces must not fall for this and must carry out the steps I have outlined from January 31 '13 to February 6 '13, included in the following comment I posted on news stories:-

--------START OF COMMENT--------

The hangings of both Ajmal Kasab and Afzal Guru were murders because the 2008 Mumbai killings were sponsored by the CIA and India's RAW participated in it along with Pakistan's ISI and RAW sponsored the Parliament attack: WhatYouShouldKnowAboutRAWDOTblogspotDOTcom

Narendra Modi is CIA-RAW-sponsored; details upon request. I have shown that Indira, Rajiv and Vajpayee were CIA-sponsored and Nehru and M. K. Gandhi were lifelong British agents. India is ruled by the CIA through RAW.

(Jan. 31, 2013) India's nuclear forces were a big fat zero until I persuaded them to emplace India's nuclear warheads in U.S. cities. They are still a big fat zero having failed so far to have triggered the warheads. India's Dasyu population is profoundly hostile to the king of the Aryas -- myself, who is profoundly different from India's Dasyu population even in his looks -- and committed to everlasting slavery to whites whom they helped kill over ten million Indians in just the ten years after 1857 and have been helping in crimes against me for the past 36 years. Unless India's nuclear forces stop behaving like India's Dasyu population -- such as RAW and the head of DRDO who rules out building any missiles capable of delivering nuclear warheads to the United States and is not worried that the satellite navigation the SLBM he just tested uses can be switched off by the Americans any time and that RAW provides the Americans with information on digital circuitry in India's weapons that can be used to disable them by microwave signals from satellites -- and trigger the warheads that are emplaced and destroy Washington, New York and RAW without further delay with an EXPLICIT warning that additional U.S. cities will be destroyed with warheads already emplaced in them if there is any retaliation, they will share the fate of India's Dasyu population. On January 5, 2004 I wrote about Indians "It is a thankless task to try to break their chains but I feel I should try". On  October 19, 2012 I wrote "India's media, government and citizenry at large are willing participants in CIA-RAW's crimes against me and against India and deserve to be killed in their billions". India's nuclear forces can save themselves and India by steadfastly refusing to behave like India's Dasyu population. (Feb. 4, 2013) India's nuclear forces can bring the king of the Aryas back to India and suppress the Dasyu hordes that constitute India's government, media and citizenry at large participating in the Americans' suppression of him. (Feb. 5, 2013) The task is not to suppress the Dasyu hordes but the coast-to-coast destruction of the United States which requires the simultaneous nuclear destruction of Washington, New York and RAW as a first stage. By saying that India's nuclear forces must not lose the element of surprise on which India's victory depends, I mean the destruction of Washington, New York and RAW should be sudden, with no forewarning as to whether it will be tomorrow or the day after or next week, etc. and it should be done before the Americans do anything, such as a nuclear first strike on India or by conventional means, to forestall it. By "sudden" I also mean that the destruction of Washington and New York should be completed in the first blow and should not be gradual or in stages. If only one twenty kiloton warhead has been emplaced in each of these cities -- Washington and New York -- fine, just explode these two warheads with the EXPLICIT warning that additional U.S. cities will be similarly destroyed, with nuclear warheads already emplaced in them, if there is any retaliation; if more than one nuclear warheads have been emplaced in each of these two cities, all warheads should be exploded in the first blow, with the EXLICIT warning that additional U.S. cities will be similarly destroyed, with nuclear warheads already emplaced in them, if there is any retaliation. This is all that is needed to ensure India's victory. India has this opportunity right now. If the United States shows any sign of retaliating or takes any retaliatory step, the destruction of the additional cities in which warheads have been emplaced -- whether these additional cities are just two in number or a dozen or more -- should be done immediately and simultaneously in the second blow, exploding all the warheads emplaced in all of these additional cities. India's Dasyu hordes easily submitted to rule by the British and they will submit to rule by Satish Chandra after the coast-to-coast destruction of the United States. I have also said above that they deserve to be killed in their billions. What to do with India's Dasyu hordes can be decided later. The main task is the coast-to-coast destruction of the United States. (Feb. 6, 2013) Nothing is more urgent than the destruction of RAW and it has to be done simultaneously with that of Washington and New York. One nuclear warhead targeting RAW headquarters and one targeting the South Block and North Block area still seems a good solution. India's army and air force are a continuation of those under the British whose loyalties are to the white countries. I have said I do not need India's conventional forces to defend India; they are liabilities, not assets. If the destruction of the South Block - North Block area does not keep them quiet, additional warheads can be targeted at the Army and Air Headquarters, etc. IndiasTraitorGovtAndMediaDOTblogspotDOTcom
