Great. Women can just as harmful as men! That's the kind of 'equality' the System's of Power like!

Chimes in with States arming one side against another in 'civil' wars, claiming that will reduce the violence and bring peace and democracy in the long run, because "we're worth it!" (Madelaine Albright's infamous comment..).

Such obvious lies and such terrible trauma!

@SyrianMan  Curse Hafez's soul. Tell Bashar to eat khara. If you cannot without consequence, you are not living in a free society.

This is as far from Islam as one gets (and I'd like to know how this particular terrorist can fire her weapon, or see what she's firing at.  Oh, wait.  She shoots blindly, killing at random).

Leave it to Time, a magazine with a history of fascists as its "men of the year," to romanticize yet another killer.   How about a touch of truth, here, at least in the comments' section.   This is no "civil war."  It is a proxy war, a coup attempt, funded by US/UK/France/Saudis/Qatar, with savage mercenaries trained in Jordan and Turkey.

http://quran.com/2 2:11 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) when it is said to them, “Do not cause corruption on the earth,” they say, “We are but reformers.

2:12 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.

2:7 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.

2:8 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) And of the people are some who say, “We believe in Allah and the Last Day,” but they are not believers.

2:9 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.

2:10 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow)In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie

A monochromatic photo! The editors of this page must be so proud and romantic also. Freedom and liberty in reverse is acceptable to the imperialists subject to the "country".. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Wow. Classy Islamophobic bigotry going on here. Quite frankly, the vast majority of crimes belong to the regime, idiots.

Ronald Reagans freedom fighters are todays taliban. I have learned to withold my judgement until I see the fruits of this uprising. I suspect the fighting will not end when Assad is gone.

I wonder if they will also be sexually assaulted by their comrades as what happened to the women of the "Arab Spring" in Cairo?

@MaryWoodward I don't think Islam was ever mentioned. It was all about being oppressed and humiliated. And fighting back against a cruel regime.

Going by your logic, America would be the anti-Christ, where the right to own assault weapons is greater than the lives of children, rapists who publish their exploits online, invasion and murder in other countries. And where poor are left to die of illness.

I'm sure too that the Saudis arranged for the regime to abuse these women, so they would be angry enough to fight back.

@MaryWoodward how much do you know about Islam anyway to say this is far from it? You bigots need to make up your minds. Is Islam about killing enemies (in which case the women are right) or peaceful (in which case they

Islam is a peaceful religion, where there is no place terrorism.
Terrorism has no religion. الإرهاب لا دين له
According to the number of believers, Islam is the second religion in Russia.

Russia is a big country.

@FordHawk123 Yes you are right. In America and the rest of civilized world, the police and law enforcement forces will tolerate a bearded terrorist with an AK-47 or a pickup truck equipped with a heavy machine gun. Eliminating them is a violation to human rights and violates freedom of speech.

@JohnPoyhonen Assad will remain. No matter what. Syrians want him. Thats y the so called opposition are afraid of elections and delay dialogue. More than %50 of Syrians will re-elect Assad.

@TizzAlNabi The basic benefit for the contribution of women in FSA is to release the sexual tension of "Mujahidin" after issuing a "Fatwa" to allow that. Recently, arms and women are being shipped to the "rebels" together.

@dinsel @JohnPoyhonen I have, not to trust what the media is pumping out at face value. Hadn't the Bush's Iraq wars taught you anything? Wasn't Karzhai in Afghanistan sold as a savior and hero of democracy in our press? I will wait till the dice settle before I count the dots.

@FadiAyat We dont get paid to use photoshop and spread lies and propaganda like the FSA.

Half the FSA is foreign fighters wanting to do their jihad while being supplied with weapons from the US puppet Arab kings.
