In the past week, Lebanon experienced more of the reverberations of the deadly sectarian civil war next door in Syria. Sunni militants loyal to a radical cleric in the city of Sidon clashed with Lebanese soldiers in a series of gun battles. At least 12 soldiers have been killed.

@Shyit We sure are sick and tired of being blamed for everything. My God, western politics brought your pathetic nomadic culture into the 20th century. The West has NOTHING to do with the Sunni/Shiite dispute. It could be a punch line- as if IRA Christians blamed the Battle of Tours for the "troubles" in N. Ireland between Catholic and Protestants. Accept responsibility for what your beliefs have wrought.
