One year after the September 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans, another explosion rocked the Libyan city.

CNN reports that the blast damaged a Foreign Ministry building and a bank, but that nobody was seriously injured. The explosion occurred around 7 a.m., before most Benghazi residents had filled the streets. Residents say that if the blast had been just an hour later, there would likely have been casualties.

The explosion comes one year after the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate and 12 years after the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon.

U.S. officials say that some U.S. Marines have been stationed near Libya in order to reach it easily in the event of another attack.
