An airstrike on a rebel-held city in Syria hit a school Sunday, killing at least 16 people, most of them students, activists said.
Ten of the victims in Raqqa were students, the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. Video posted online showed bloody and charred remains of bodies said to be victims of the attack, Reuters reports.
Fighting continued across the country over the weekend, including a rebel attack that killed at least 19 government forces in the outskirts of Damascus, the capital, on Saturday.
