Legendary American comic creator Stan Lee’s newest superhero is an Indian boy from Mumbai, who creates a body suit that fires up the mystic chakras of his body and invests him with supernatural powers to fight evil. “Chakra – The Invincible” will debut in South Asia on Nov. 30 on Cartoon Network.

Lee describes Chakra as a “thrill-a-minute superhero saga” and calls it one of his “most exciting superhero creations” that will “captivate audiences in India and around the world”, reports news agency IANS.

“I have always been fascinated by the ancient traditions of the East,” Lee told the Mumbai Mirror in February. “That’s why I wanted to create a character that imbued some of these characteristics into his powers.”

Lee, who is 90 years old, co-created iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, the Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and Thor. He partnered with Turner International’s Cartoon Network, Graphic India and POW! Entertainment for Chakra.
