Police in Mumbai are searching for six men over the rape of a 16-year-old girl. The victim had known the men for two years and considered them friends, the Hindustan Times reports. Four of the men allegedly assaulted the girl after the group invited her to celebrate Diwali on Friday evening. Two others have been charged as accomplices. The victim escaped when the men, all in their twenties, went to a nearby restaurant.

It’s the second case of gang-rape reported in Mumbai in less than three months, and comes nearly a year after a 23-year-old student died when she was raped by six men on a bus in New Delhi.
