A commercial Boeing airplane crash-landed and exploded on impact in central Russia Saturday, killing everyone aboard.
The regionally operated Tatarstan Airlines Boeing 737-500 was arriving at Kazan, about 450 miles east of Moscow, from Moscow Domodedovo airport when it crashed while landing at about 7:20 p.m. local time, the BBC reports.
All 44 passengers and 6 crew members died, leaving no survivors. The cause of the crash is unknown.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a commission to investigate the cause of the plane crash, RT.com reports.
