Indians Turn ‘Gay For a Day’ to Protest Supreme Court Ruling

Facebook campaign urges users to post pictures of them kissing friends of the same sex after country's top court reinstates band on homosexuality

Hundreds of people have taken to the streets to protest the decision by India’s Supreme Court to uphold the law criminalizing homosexuality.

Even more have joined the campaign “Gay for a day!” on Facebook and Twitter, where users post pictures of themselves kissing someone of the same gender. This first image is posted by the Facebook page’s administrator, Tanmay Sahay.

But there will naturally always be haters:
