Israel said a Lebanese soldier fired seven shots across the Israeli border on Sunday, killing one Israeli soldier.

According to the Associated Press, the Lebanese military has yet to confirm or explain the incident. U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon said both sides were cooperating in an investigation into Sunday’s events.

Tensions along the border climaxed in 2006, when Hizballah guerrillas abducted two Israeli soldiers, triggering an exchange of missile fire that claimed 1,200 Lebanese and 160 Israeli lives.

middle-east any war and peace are absolutely depended on Israel hand all the time.

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.Quran 5:51.... George W Bush says all the time “Israel have a basic right to protect own from terrorist” around when Israel are going on air strike into Gaza city. Baraq Omaba says “we are proudest to getting Israel as friend”

I am Jewish and Israeli, but I am sick to death of all this violence,  NOBODY wants peace there.  It's obvious.

I love Jews but I am totally disgusted with Israel, why because they fail to follow International Law and they think they are above it!

did you read the article? the lebanese army fired first and killed an israeli soldier, israel was responding in kind. you must either be illiterate, too feeble-minded to understand that in a military standoff fire is met with fire, or you just skipped right to the comment section without reading the article.
