Both of celebrity cook and author Nigella Lawson’s assistants were acquitted of fraud on Friday, after being accused of spending over $1 million on luxury goods using a company credit card. The assistants, sisters Eliabetta and Francesca Grillo, were found not guilty, the Associated Press reports.
During the trial in London, the sisters accused Lawson of drug use and her former husband Charles Saatchi of abuse, while maintaining the purchases they made while working in the home were authorized. Saatchi and Lawson divorced in July 2013.
Lawson is currently a judge on the ABC show The Taste, which is set to begin airing its second season in January.
