Valerie Trierweiler has been released from the hospital after a weeklong stay following a French gossip magazine’s report of an alleged affair between President Francois Hollande and an actress.

A person close to Trierweiler confirmed she had left the hospital Saturday, the Associated Press reports.

Trierweiler, a journalist and Hollande’s  partner since 2007, was admitted to the hospital last Friday to “rest and undergo some tests,” after the magazine Closer published photos that implied Hollande and French actress Julie Gayet were having an affair.

Therein lies the difference between the upper and lower classes. In the upper class, the husband has an affair, and the wife checks into the hospital. In the lower class, the husband has an affair, he is taken to the hospital with frying pan dents in his head.

In France, nowaday, we have other things to think about perhaps  more important !

Why Hollande is so selfish that he has forgotten the woes of the nation and election promises to go  after an actress who is not good looking compared to Valerie Trierweller?

What's the problem.  I thought French presidents always had affairs.
