In the past week, Lebanon experienced more of the reverberations of the deadly sectarian civil war next door in Syria. Sunni militants loyal to a radical cleric in the city of Sidon clashed with Lebanese soldiers in a series of gun battles. At least 12 soldiers have been killed.
