Syrian opposition forces say the government killed at least 213 people, including women and children, with gas-armed rockets in an attack outside of Damascus on Wednesday. The incident has revived concerns that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad may be using chemical weapons against the rebels, crossing what President Barack Obama has called a “red line.” A team of United Nations inspectors is already in Syria investigating separate claims of a smaller gas attack in March.

Dozens of videos have surfaced of Wednesday’s attack, including footage of victims in a makeshift hospital being hosed down. European Union countries and the Arab League have called for U.N. inspectors to investigate the attack, though the Syrian government denied using chemical weapons and said the allegations contain “no truth whatsoever.”
