A Colombian restaurant owner caused controversy on social media this week after commenting on an alleged rape that occurred in his parking lot.

Andres Jaramillo, owner of Andres Carne de Res, openly questioned whether or not the rape occurred because of the alleged victim’s attire in a radio interview on Tuesday, AP reports. He also mentioned that the 20-year-old was wearing a mini skirt, which angered many on social media including leaders of women’s rights groups.

Though the owner has apologized for his remarks, according to BBC, the hashtag #Yomepongounaminifaldayque,” which translate to I wear a mini-skirt, so what? has been trending on Twitter.
