After the discovery of up to 1,400 famous works of art supposedly seized by the Nazis during World War II, German authorities have posted another 101 artworks on their Lost Art website, identifying them as seized by the Nazis during World War II.
Now a total of 219 works from a massive trove found in a collector’s apartment in Munich are on the site, the Associated Press reports.
The works include drawings and watercolors by Edgar Degas, Paul Cézanne and Pablo Picasso.
German police found the famed artworks at collector Cornelius Gurlitt’s apartment last year while investigating a tax case. Prosecutors believe up to 590 pieces were taken by the Nazis.
Officials began posting works online earlier this month.
