Peruvian authorities said Thursday that a bus crash in the Andes Mountains killed at least 15 people and injured 58.
The overcrowded bus fell off a mountain highway into a ravine before noon on Thursday, the Associated Press reports.
Local official Carlos Segovia said that a 1-year-old baby is among those killed.
Peru’s mountain roads are notoriously treacherous. In 2012, more than 4,000 people perished as a result of similar accidents.
